For all the avid users of Facebook — the social gaint — you will be glad to know that the Facebook team has just released a new standalone messaging app for both the iPhone and Android platforms. Primarily, this app has been designed for those users who frequently use Facebook’s messaging service, which makes messaging faster and easier on smartphone devices.

According to the current details, the making of Facebook messenger app is the direct result of the company’s recent acquisitions of a group messaging app called Beluga. And ‘Messenger by Facebook’ is no doubt going to be the first app release outside of it’s all-in-one official app.

As far as this app is concerned, it works just the same as Beluga, once you’ve logged into Messenger app using your credentials, you will be taken to a user interface where you will be able to chat with your friends and can also see  recent messages and conversations. And one more important thing about Messenger app is, it doesn’t require refreshing, everything will be done in real time communication.
