Notcom has released TinyUmbrella 5.10.04 to save the SHSH blobs of iPhone 4S running iOS 5.0.1. If you are our regular reader, then you must be aware that Notcom always make TinyUmbrella compatible with latest iOS version before anybody even think to use it. Same happened this time. Apple didn’t release any iOS version latest that iOS 5.0.1, nor there is any chance in near future, but after the release of TinyUmbrella 5.10.04, we can now save the SHSH blob of iPhone 4S running iOS 5.0.1.
SHSH blobs is actually the most important thing we need while downgrading the iOS version. Let’s take an example for better understanding.
If you were using the iOS 5 and then upgraded to iOS 5.0.1, but want to downgrade to iOS 5 again, then you will not be able to do so without the SHSH blobs of iOS 5. Another important point to remember is that Apple stop signing the old iOS version after some days of releasing the new one. So, it is always wise to save the SHSH blobs of the iOS version you are currently using before Apple stop signing it.
We would highly recommend you to save the SHSH blobs of iPhone 4S running on iOS 5.0.1 before it’s too late.
In case you never used TinyUmbrella, follow this simple guide.
